Gross domestic product, 2013

 


This Statistical Review is a regular annual issue of the Sector of National Accounts. Data in this publication refer
to the series 2011-2013. In addition to GDP data, the publication also contains tables with data on gross fixed capital
formation.
In order to ensure comparability of national accounts data and with harmonisation as the highest priority, the State
Statistical Office made a revision of national accounts data for the time series 2000-2012.
The main reasons for the data revision were the need to publish consistent annual data for the series 2000-2012
that will include all methodological improvements in terms of the methods of calculation and better data sources, mainly
available in the last period of the specified time frame, as well as the preparation of data in accordance with the new
methodology ESA 2010 (European System of Accounts 2010) and the methodology SNA 2008 (System of National Accounts 2008).
Revised data were published in the Statistical Review: Gross Domestic Product, 2000-2012, revised data, edition
National Economy and Finances, No. 3.4.14.04/793.
Data for 2013 are consistent with the data series 2000-2012.
More detailed data on the basic categories of GDP, including gross fixed capital formation, are available in the
MakStat database on the web site of the State Statistical Office (www.stat.gov.mk).
