According to the State Statistical Office data, the number of marriages registered in 2013 was 13 982, which represents a decrease of 0.1% compared to the previous year.
Most of the marriages were in August, 11.9%, and the fewest in April, 5.0%.
By marriage order, most were first marriages, with participation of 92.0% for women and 90.2% for men.
Men entered more often into second marriage (9.1%) and third marriage (0.7% of the total number of marriages).
The average age at first marriage is 25.8 years for bride and 28.6 for groom.
In 2013, there were 2 045 divorces, an increase of 6.2% compared to 2012.
?here were fewest divorces in August (2.4%), and most in December (10.0%).
The highest number of divorces by age of wife (19.5%) was recorded in the age group 35-39, while for the husband (19.1%) in age group 30-34.
