According to the State Statistical Office data, the number of marriages registered in 2011 was 14 736, which represents an increase of 4.1% compared to the previous year.
Most of the marriages were in August 12.0% and the fewest in March 5.5%. By order of marriage, most were first marriages, with participation of 92.9% for women and 91.6% for men.
Men entered more often into second marriage 8.2% and third marriage 0.7% of the total number of marriages.
The average age at first marriage is 25.4 years for bride and 28.3 for groom.
In 2011, there were 1 753 divorces, which is an increase of 1.9% compared to 2010.
?here were fewest divorces in August 3.0% and most in November 10.6%.
The highest number of divorces by age of wife 19.5% was recorded in the age group 30-34, while for the husband 20.1% in the age group 35-39.
