2008
In this statistical review, the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia is publishing data for graduated students at tertiary institutions during 2008, and data for masters and doctors of sciences during the
same calendar year.
These presented data are published as a result of the regular annual surveys in the field of tertiary education, which are carried out in all tertiary institutions in the Republic of Macedonia and in the scientific and research institutions in which postgraduate studies are organized in order to obtain an appropriate title of master of sciences or doctor of sciences.
The data are classified according to the type of schools, sections and groups, way of studying, place of permanent residence, age, sex and ethnic groups, students-foreign citizens who have graduated at universities and higher schools in the Republic of Macedonia etc.
This statistical review also includes data for graduated students, specialists, masters and doctors of sciences in the previous years, which gives an opportunity to make analysis of the dynamics of graduated students for a longer period of time i.e. from 1958 to 2008.
