Census of the premises at the tertiary education institutions, 2017

 


The publication presents results of the Census of the premises at the tertiary education institutions - the faculties and the higher schools in the Republic of Macedonia, that was conducted electronically for the first time in 2017.

The data refer to the status from 22th to 30th of May 2017.

The objective of the Census is to obtain data on the available educational premises at the faculties and the higher schools in the Republic of Macedonia, the size of the premises, the burdenance with students, construction characteristics of the buildings, how many and what types the faculties and the higher schools use teaching and other teaching spaces, number of amphitheatres, classrooms, premises with IT equipment, laboratories, libraries, reading – rooms, as well as data on land and its use.

The data in the review are presented in two parts: the first part presents data for the premises - the buildings used by the tertiary education institutions in the Republic of Macedonia, and the second part presents data on tertiary education institutions-the faculties and the higher schools in the Republic of Macedonia.

The publication does not show the data from the International Balkan University – Skopje. The required data were not received within the prescribed deadline.

We expect that this publication will provide the users with all necessary data for further analyses, planning and preparation of scientific papers about premises at the tertiary education institutions in the country.
