Consumers optimistic about possibilities for saving over the next 12 months


According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the value of the consumer confidence indicator in May 2010 remained almost unchanged compared to the value of the previous month.

In May 2010, the expectations for the financial situation of the households for the next 12 months were unsatisfactory compared to their expectations in the previous month, and more satisfactory compared to May 2009.

In May 2010, the households assessed that the general economic situation in the country in the next 12 months will be unsatisfactory compared to their assessment in April 2010.

As for the expectations for probability of savings, they were more optimistic in May 2010 compared to the previous month.

The estimates of unemployment over the next 12 months were unsatisfactory in May 2010 compared to the previous month.
