Consumer opinion survey, December 2010

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the value of the consumer confidence indicator in December 2010 increased
by 6.65 percentage points compared to the value of the previous month.
The increase is due to the favourable expectations for the general economic situation of the country, the expectations for the
probability of savings for the next 12 months, as well as the assessment of unemployment.
The expectations for the probability of savings over the next 12 months were significantly higher in December 2010 compared to
the previous month.
In December 2010, the expectations for the financial situation of the households for the next 12 months were less satisfactory
compared to their expectations in the previous month, as well as compared to their expectations in December 2009.
In December 2010, the households assessed that the economic situation in the country over the next 12 months will be more
satisfactory compared to their assessment in November 2010, as well as the unemployment over the next 12 months.
