Construction cost indices for new residential buildings, frst quarter of 2011

The construction cost indices for new residential buildings are intended for reviewing or monitoring costs incurred by a construction
company in the execution of the construction process of building new residential buildings. The main users of construction costs
indices for new residential buildings are construction enterprises, which refer to the movement of construction costs in calculations
when entering a construction contract.
To provide an opportunity to users for a possibility of time-line comparability, a series of data for the construction costs index for
new residential buildings has been prepared, from 2005 to 2010.
According to the State Statistical Offce data, in the frst quarter of 2011, the construction costs for new residential buildings
increased by 0.4% in comparison with the frst quarter of 2010.
In the frst quarter of 2011, in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2010, the construction costs for new residential buildings
decreased by 0.9%, the material costs increased by 0.5% and the labour costs decreased by 4.2%.
In the frst quarter of 2011, in comparison with frst quarter of 2010, the construction costs for new residential buildings increased
by 0.4%, the material costs decreased by 0.8% and the labour costs increased by 3.3%.
