Job vacancies, first quarter 2013

The objective of the Job Vacancy Survey is to obtain information on job vacancies in enterprises in the Republic of Macedonia,
which is important for monitoring the macroeconomic movements and labour market policies.
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2013, the job vacancy rate was 1.11%.
The job vacancy rate was highest, 2.50%, in the section F - Construction, while the lowest rate was registered in the section
L - Real estate activities and in the section D - Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, 0.29%.
Business entities with 10-49 employees had the highest job vacancy rate of 1.29%.
The Southeast Region had the highest job vacancy rate at 2.03%.
The highest number of job vacancies, 972, was recorded in the fifth group of occupations - Service and sales workers.
