According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of teachers and supporting staff in the tertiary education institutions in the academic year 2021/2022 was 4 556.
Of the total number of teaching personnel and supporting staff, 3 182 persons or 69.8% are teachers, while 1 374 persons or 30.2% are supporting staff.
The number of female teachers and supporting staff in the academic year 2021/2022 was 258 or 49.6%.
