According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of teachers and supporting staff in the tertiary education
institutions in the academic year 2014/2015 was 3 616.
Of the total number of teaching personnel and supporting staff, 2 453 persons or 67.8% are teachers, while 1 163 persons or
32.2% are supporting staff.
The number of female teachers and supporting staff in the academic year 2014/2015 was 1 710 or 47.3%.
