Gross Fixed Capital Formation in 2009
- preliminary data –

The nominal decrease of Gross Fixed Capital Formation in 2009, in comparison with 2008, was 5.2%.

According to the State Statistical Office data, the total value of GFCF in the Republic of Macedonia in 2009 was 81872 million denars.

In the technical structure of GFCF construction participated with 53.4%, machinery and equipment with 42.0%, and the rest of GFCF with 4.6%.

According to NACE sections, the highest volume of GFCF was mainly realized in: F - Construction 29.9%; D - Manufacturing 17.8%; I - Transport, storage and communication 11.9% and E - Electricity, gas and water supply 11.3%.

The biggest increase in comparison with 2008 was recorded in the following NACE sections: F - Construction, D - Manufacturing and A - Agriculture, hunting and forestry.
