According to the State Statistical Offce data, the Retail Price Index in October 2011, in comparison with the previous month, was 100.2, while the Consumer Price Index was 100.3.
The increase in the Consumer Price Index by 0.3% is a result of the higher indices of vegetables by 5.2%, fruit by 2.2%, dairy products by 0.8%, dry fruit and processed fsh by 0.5%, cereal products, meat and fresh and sour milk by 0.2%.
In October, there was also an increase of the indices of liquid fuels and gas by 3.2%, footwear by 1.5%, oil derivatives by 1.3%, clothing by 0.8%, education services by 0.4%, household appliances and food in restaurants and hotels by 0.3% and accommodation services by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in October 2011, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in processed meat and eggs by 0.7% and fsh by 0.3%.
In October, there was also a decrease of the indices of package holidays by 5.1%, materials for maintenance of the dwelling by 2.5%, means of education by 0.7%, solid fuels and household utensils by 0.6%, miscellaneous goods and services by 0.5% and personal care articles by 0.4%.
The Retail Price Index in October 2011, compared with October 2010, registered an increase by 3.8%, while the Consumer Price Index increased by 3.3%.
