According to the State Statistical Office data, the Retail Price Index in June 2012, in comparison with the previous month, was
99.0, while the Consumer Price Index was 99.5.
The decrease in the Consumer Price Index by 0.5% is a result of the lower indices of eggs by 10.8%, vegetables by 6.9%, other
food products by 0.7% and cereal products by 0.6%.
In June, there was also a decrease of the indices of accommodation services by 6.2%, liquid fuels and gas by 4.1%, oil derivatives
by 3.9%, telecommunication services by 1.9% and personal care articles by 0.4%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2012, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fruit by 13.5%,
fats by 2.1%, nonalcoholic beverages by 0.7%, alcoholic beverages by 0.6% and processed meat by 0.5%.
In June, there was also an increase of the indices of package holidays by 1.5%, footwear by 1.4% and passenger transport by air
by 0.3%.
The Retail Price Index in June 2012, compared with June 2011, registered an increase by 2.2%, while the Consumer Price Index
increased by 2.1%.
