According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal
consumption, in July 2013, in comparison with June 2013, was 98.9, while in comparison with July 2012 it was 104.0.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in July 2013, compared with June 2013, a decrease of indices has been registered in
the groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 2.5%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 2.3% and Clothing and
footwear by 0.2%.
An increase of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Alcoholic beverages, tobacco by 2.4%, Health by 0.6%,
Miscellaneous goods and services by 0.4%, Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house and
Transport by 0.3% and Restaurants and hotels by 0.2%.
The indices of the groups: Communication, Recreation and culture and Education remained at the same level as in the previous
month.
