Consumer Price Index, by COICOP classification, October 2013


According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal
consumption, in October 2013, in comparison with September 2013, was 99.9, while in comparison with October 2012 it
was 101.3.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in October 2013, compared with September 2013, a decrease of indices has been
registered in the groups: Transport by 1.6%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages and Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.2%,
and Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house by 0.1%.
An increase of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Clothing and footwear by 2.1% and Health by 0.5%.
The indices of the groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Communication, Recreation and culture, Education,
Restaurants and hotels and Miscellaneous goods and services remained at the same level as in the previous month.
