According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in September 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was 99.9, while the Retail Price Index was 99.5.
A decrease in the Consumer Price index in September 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled fruit by 4.4% and milk by 0.3%.
In September, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 9.4%, package holidays by 9.3%, accommodation services by 3.3%, books by 1.2%, jewellery, clocks and watches by 0.9%, information processing equipment by 0.6%, equipment for reception, recording and reproduction of sound and picture, electric appliances for personal care by 0.5%, footwear by 0.3% and motor cars by 0.2%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in September 2021, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 2.5%, beer by 0.7%, fish and seafood by 0.4%, oils and fats, furniture and furnishings by 0.2%.
In September, there was also an increase in the indices of recording media by 3.1%, stationery and drawing materials by 2.9%, gas for household by 2.2%, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments by 1.3%, solid fuels for household by 1.2%, games, toys and hobbies by 1.0%, repair of furniture, furnishings and floor coverings, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 0.8%, liquid fuels for household, repair of household appliances, other medical products by 0.7%, bicycles, gardens, plants and flowers, hairdressing salons and personal grooming establishments by 0.6%, household textiles, small tools and miscellaneous accessories by 0.3%, materials for maintenance and repair of the dwelling, major household appliances, small household appliances, pharmaceutical products, restaurants, cafes, and the like by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in September 2021, in comparison with September 2020, increased by 3.7%, while the Retail Price Index increased by 5.6%.
