According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in June 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was 102.8, while the Retail Price Index was 102.4.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in June 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in oils and fats by 10.4%, bread and cereals by 7.8%, milk by 6.7%, meat by 5.2%, fresh or chilled fruit by 2.9%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 2.7%, wine by 2.1%, mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices by 1.0%, fish and seafood by 0.8%, coffee, tea and cocoa by 0.5% and food products n.e.c by 0.4%.
In June, there was also an increase in the indices of fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 17.2%, liquid fuels for households by 16.3%, package holidays by 6.4%, solid fuels for households by 6.2%, passenger transport by air by 6.1%, gas for households by 4.4%, passenger transport by road by 4.0%, accommodation services by 3.7%, gardens, plants and flowers by 2.9%, hair dressing salons and personal grooming establishments by 2.7%, restaurants, cafes and the like by 2.5%, other appliances, articles and products for personal care by 2.1%, major household appliances by 1.8%, services for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling, paramedical services by 1.7%, domestic services and household services by 1.6%, maintenance and repair of personal transport equipment, repair of audio-visual, photographic and information processing equipment, pets and related products by 1.5%, clothing materials by 1.4%, materials for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling, recreational and sporting services by 1.2%, non-durable household goods by 1.1%, small electric household appliances by 1.0%, major tools and equipment, motor cars, spare parts and accessories for personal transport equipment, electric appliances by 0.9%, repair and hire of footwear, repair of furniture, furnishings and floor coverings by 0.8%, repair of household appliances, recording media by 0.7%, veterinary and other services for pets by 0.6%, cleaning, repair and hire of clothing by 0.5%, glassware, tableware and household utensils, pharmaceutical services, information processing equipment by 0.4%, furniture and furnishings, small tools and miscellaneous accessories, dental services, motorcycles, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments by 0.3%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price index in June 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 3.3%.
In June, there was also a decrease in the indices of equipment for the reception, recording and reproduction of sound and pictures by 1.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in June 2022, in comparison with June 2021, increased by 14.5%, while the Retail Price Index increased by 13.7%.
