According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in September 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was 101.6, while the Retail Price Index was 99.9.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in September 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in cheese and curd by 9.9%, fresh or chilled fruit by 6.3%, milk by 5.7%, fish and seafood by 3.5%, fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 3.1%, beer by 2.9%, bread and cereals by 2.6%, meat by 2.2%, wine by 1.6%, food products n.e.c by 0.7%, spirits by 0.6% and sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 0.2%.
In September, there was also an increase in the indies of solid fuels by 15.2%, bicycles by 9.1%, furniture and furnishings by 6.9%, hair dressing salons and personal grooming establishments by 6.1%, small tools and miscellaneous accessories by 6.0%, spare parts and accessories for personal transport equipment by 5.9%, carpets and other floor coverings by 5.4%, repair of household appliances by 4.2%, equipment for the reception, recording and reproduction of sound and picture, stationery and drawing materials by 3.9%, liquid fuels for households by 3.7%, medical services by 3.3%, non-durable household goods by 2.8%, domestic services and household services by 2.7%, restaurants, cafes and the like, other appliances, articles and products for personal care by 2.4%, major household appliances, cultural services by 2.1%, maintenance and repair of personal transport equipment by 2.0%, dental services, paramedical services by 1.9%, photographic and cinematographic equipment and optical instruments by 1.8%, services for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling by 1.5%, passenger transport by road by 1.4%, repair of furniture, furnishings and floor coverings by 1.3%, garments, glassware, tableware and household utensils by 1.1%, materials for the maintenance and repair of the dwelling, household textiles, information processing equipment, jewellery, clocks and watches, other personal effects by 1.0%, cleaning, repair and hire of clothing by 0.9%, pharmaceutical products by 0.7%, education not definable by level by 0.6%, therapeutic appliances and equipment, recording media, pets and related products by 0.5%, other articles of clothing and clothing accessories by 0.4%, equipment for sport, camping and open-air recreation, other services n.e.c by 0.3% and tertiary education by 0.2%.
A decrease in the Consumer Price index in September 2022, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in oils and fats by 1.1% and mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices by 0.6%.
In September, there was also a decrease in the indices of passenger transport by air by 34.0%, package holidays by 13.2%, gas for households by 4.4%, accommodation services by 3.8%, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 2.9%, electric appliances for personal care by 1.1%, games, toys and hobbies by 0.3% and motor cars by 0.2%.
The Consumer Price Index in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, increased by 18.7%, while the Retail Price Index increased by 14.7%.
