According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in September 2014, in comparison with the previous
month, was 100.0, while the Retail Price Index was 99.5.
The Consumer Price Index in September 2014, in comparison with the previous month, remained at the same level, but there
were movements in the prices in some subgroups. An increase in the indices was registered in oil and fats by 3.5%, eggs by 1.7%,
edible offal by 0.8%, preserved meat products and dry fruits by 0.6%, cured meat products and processed milk by 0.5%, semidurable
sausage products and sour milk by 0.4%, bread and other bakery products, fresh meat and fresh milk by 0.2%.
In September 2014, in comparison with the previous month, there was also an increase of the indices of telephone and telefax
equipment by 10.4%, financial services by 9.4%, cleaning and maintenance products and solid fuels by 1.3%, personal care
articles by 0.6% and bicycles by 0.3%.
? decrease in the Consumer Price Index in September 2014, in comparison with the previous month, was recorded in food
products n.e.c. by 1.0%, non-alcoholic beverages by 0.3%, fish, sugar, jam, honey, chocolates and confectionery by 0.2%.
In September, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 13.3%, liquid fuels and lubricants by 2.1%,
gas for households by 1.2% and medicines by 1.0%.
The Consumer Price Index in September 2014, in comparison with September 2013, registered a decrease by 0.7%, while the
Retail Price Index decreased by 1.8%.
