According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in July 2015, in comparison with the previous month, was
99.3, while the Retail Price Index was 99.7.
The decrease in the Consumer Price Index by 0.7% in July 2015, in comparison with the previous month, is a result of lower
indices of fresh vegetable by 18.9%, fresh fruit by 2.7%, eggs by 1.7%, cure meat products by 0.8%, canned meat products by
0.6%, canned vegetables by 0.5%, fresh milk by 0.4%, semi-durable meat products by 0.3% and non-alcoholic beverages 0.2%.
In July, there was also a decrease of the indices of hospital services by 5.8%, cleaning and maintenance products of the dwelling
by 2.2%, footwear by 1.3%, major household appliances by 1.0%, electricity for household and liquid fuels and lubricants by
0.4%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in July 2015, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in tobacco by 5.0%,
dry fruit by 1.4%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 1.1%.
In July, there was also an increase of the indices of accommodation services by 13.2%, medicines by 3.5%, information processing
equipment by 3.1%, package holidays by 2.6%, gas for household by 1.3%, clothing, furniture and textile for household by
0.3%.
The Consumer Price Index in July 2015, in comparison with July 2014, registered a decrease by 0.4%, while the Retail Price Index
decreased by 1.4%.
