According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index in October 2015, in comparison with the previous month,
was 100.0, while the Retail Price Index was 99.8.
The Consumer Price Index in October 2015, in comparison with the previous month, remained at the same level, but there
were movements in the prices in some subgroups. An increase in the indices was registered in sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and
confectionery by 1.3%, canned fish by 1.1%, pasta and food products n.e.c by 1.0%, oils and fats by 0.9%, fresh milk by 0.4%,
processed milk by 0.3%, meat and semi-durable sausages by 0.2%.
In October 2015, in comparison with the previous month, there was also an increase of the indices of footwear by 4.0%, solid
fuels and furnishing by 3.0%, gas and liquid fuels for households by 2.6%, medicines by 2.1%, package holidays by 1.9%, jewellery, clocks and watches by 0.7%, education not definable by level by 0.6%, liquid fuels and lubricants by 0.4% and services for
maintenance and repair of the dwelling by 0.3%.
A decrease in the indices was registered in fresh fruit by 8.7%, fresh vegetables by 0.8% and dry fruit by 0.5%.
In October, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 11.4%, bicycles by 1.6%, clothing by 0.9%,
cleaning and maintenance products for the dwelling by 0.7%, information processing equipment by 0.6% and materials for the
maintenance and repair of the dwelling by 0.5%.
The Consumer Price Index in October 2015, in comparison with October 2014, registered a decrease by 0.5%, while the Retail
Price Index decreased by 1.2%.
