Consumer Price Index, by COICOP classification, July 2011

According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal consumption, in July 2011, in comparison with June 2011, was 99.2, while in comparison with July 2010 it was 103.8.
 
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in July 2011, compared with June 2011, a decrease of indices has been registered in the groups: Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 2.2% and Clothing and footwear by 0.1%.
 
An increase of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Recreation and culture by 2.8%, Restaurants and hotels by 0.5%, Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house and Health by 0.1%.
 
The indices of the groups: Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Transport, Communication, Education and Miscellaneous goods and services remained at the same level as in the previous month.
