According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services for personal consumption, in September 2011, in comparison with August 2011, was 99.9, while in comparison with September 2010 it was 103.4.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in September 2011, compared with August 2011, a decrease of indices has been registered in the groups: Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.4%, Education by 0.3%, Clothing and footwear by 0.2%, Recreation and culture and Restaurants and hotels by 0.1%.
An increase of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Transport by 0.8% and Miscellaneous goods and services by 0.2%.
The indices of the groups: Alcoholic beverages, tobacco, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house, Health and Communication remained at the same level as in the previous month.
