Consumer Price Index, by COICOP classification, February 2013

According to the State Statistical Office data, the Consumer Price Index, measured by prices of goods and services
for personal consumption, in February 2013, in comparison with January 2013, was 100.2, while in comparison with
February 2012 it was 103.5.
Analyzed by main groups of intended use, in February 2013, compared with January 2013, an increase of indices
has been registered in the groups: Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house and
Transport by 1.1%, Restaurants and hotels by 0.4%, Food and non-alcoholic beverages and Housing, water, electricity,
gas and other fuels by 0.3%, Health and Education by 0.1%.
A decrease of the Consumer Price Index was registered in the groups: Communication by 2.1%, Recreation and culture
by 1.6%, Alcoholic beverages, tobacco and Clothing and footwear by 0.1%.
The index of the group Miscellaneous goods and services remained at the same level as in the previous month.
