The average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2010 increased by 3.3% compared to February 2009

According to the data of the State Statistical Office the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2010, compared to February 2009, was 103.3.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (11.7%), Fishing (8.4%) and Manufacturing (6.8%).

The biggest growth in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Transport, storage and communications (6.6%), Mining and quarrying (3.5%) and Real estate, renting and business activities (3.3%).

The average monthly net wage paid per employee in February 2010 was 20 240 denars. In February 2010, 3.3% of the employees in the Republic of Macedonia did not receive any payment.
