According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in March 2020, compared to March 2019, was 107.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Education (12.2%), Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (11.2%) and Manufacturing (9.8%).
A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (15.6%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (15.4%) and Professional, scientific and technical activities (9.9%).
The average monthly net wage paid per employee in March 2020 was 26 422 denars.
