According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the index of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2023, compared to July 2022, was 114.4.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly gross wage paid per employee in the sectors: Construction (19.7%), Education (17.7%) and Public administration and defence; compulsory social security (17.2%).
A decrease in the average monthly gross wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining and quarrying (8.1%) Financial and insurance activities (5.1%) and Accommodation and food service activities (4.1%).
The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in July 2023 was 54 434 denars.
