According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2021 was 4 668 764 thousand denars and compared to the same period of the previous year increased by 9.3%.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 12.7%, while the sale of agricultural products from own production increased by 0.4%.
An increase was observed in all products, except for cereals, fruit and livestock production.
