According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the value of total purchase and sale of agricultural products in April 2014 was 765 011 thousand denars, which is an increase of 10.5% compared with April 2013.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 9.9%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 11.1%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Vegetables, Livestock and Milk, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Fruits, Alcoholic beverages, Poultry and eggs, Dairy products and Fish.
