Purchase and sale of agricultural products, first quarter of 2017

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2017
decreased by 14.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 30.0%, while the value of sold agricultural
products from own production increased by 50.6%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Vegetables, Fodder, Fruits, Alcoholic
beverages, Livestock and Poultry and eggs, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops,
Milk, Dairy products and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows a decrease in January and February,
while in March there was an increase in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
