According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the third quarter of 2017 decreased by 7.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 15.1%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 0.9%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Alcoholic beverages, Livestock, Poultry and eggs and Fish, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Industrial crops, Vegetables, Fodder, Fruits, Grapes, Milk and Dairy products.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows a decrease in July, while in August and September there was an increase in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
