Purchase and sale of agricultural products, first quarter of 2018

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the first quarter of 2018 increased
by 4.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 10.9%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 7.5%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Vegetables, Fruits, Alcoholic
beverages, Livestock and Milk and Dairy products while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Fodder, Poultry and eggs and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in January and March, while in
February there was a decrease in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
