Purchase and sale of agricultural products, second quarter of 2018

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the second quarter of 2018
decreased by 4.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 14.0%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 16.5%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Fruits, Livestock, Poultry and eggs and Milk, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Vegetables, Fodder, Alcoholic beverages, Dairy products and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows a decrease in April and May, while in June
there was an increase in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
