According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the fourth quarter of 2018 increased by 10.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers increased by 14.1%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production increased by 4.6%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Industrial crops, Fodder, Fruits, Grapes, Alcoholic beverages, Livestock and Milk, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Vegetables, Poultry and eggs, Dairy products and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in October and December, while in November there was a decrease in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
