According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the purchase and sale of agricultural products in the third quarter of 2019 decreased by 6.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The value of purchased agricultural products from individual producers decreased by 4.7%, while the value of sold agricultural products from own production decreased by 8.9%.
The value of total purchase and sale increased in the following agricultural products: Cereals, Vegetables, Livestock and Dairy products, while a decrease was observed in the following agricultural products: Industrial crops, Fodder, Fruits, Grapes, Alcoholic beverages, Poultry and eggs, Milk, Skin and wool and Fish.
The monthly distribution of the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products shows an increase in July, while in August and September there was a decrease in the value of purchase and sale of agricultural products.
