According to the data of the State Statistical Office the total number of cattle decreased by 9.7% in 2023,compared to 2022. The number

of cattle decreased in the individual agricultural holdings and in business entities it was increased.

The number of pigs in 2023, compared to 2022 increased by 5.9%. There was an increase in both sectors.

The total number of sheep recorded decreased by 9.2%.

In the same period the number of goats increased by 6.7%.

The number of poultry in 2023, compared to the previous year, increased by 11.8%.
