Estimation of the managers of the business entities in the manufacturing industry about the
business situation in June 2010

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the business situation of the business entities in June 2010 according to
the managers is more satisfactory compared to the previous month. The situation with the present volume of production orders
is also more satisfactory. The production volume of the business entities in June 2010 increased significantly compared to the
previous month; the expectations for the production volume are pessimistic for the next three months, while the expectations
for the number of employees are more optimistic. The stocks of raw materials and intermediate goods and the provision of raw
materials and intermediate goods in June 2010 are below the normal level. The stocks of finished products decreased compared
to the previous month. In the next period the average purchasing prices of the inputs will decrease, as well as the average selling
prices of the finished goods. The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in June 2010, compared to the previous
month, increased to 59.5% of normal utilization. The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in
June 2010 were: insufficient foreign demand with 26.3%, insufficient domestic demand with 17.4%, financial problems with 12.3%,
uncertainty of the economic environment with 9.7%.
