Estimation of the managers of the business entities in the manufacturing industry about the business situation in November 2014

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the managers assessed the business situation in November 2014 as less
satisfactory compared to the previous month and less satisfactory compared to November 2013. The situation with the current
volume of production orders is less satisfactory compared to the previous month. The production volume of the business
entities in November 2014 is less satisfactory compared to the previous month; the expectations for the production volume are
unfavourable for the next three months, as well as the expectations for the number of employees.
The stocks of raw materials and intermediate goods and the purchases of raw materials and intermediate goods in November
2014 are below and around the normal level.
The stocks of finished products decreased compared to October 2014.
The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in November 2014, compared to the previous month, decreased to
61.2% of normal utilization.
The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in November 2014 were: insufficient foreign
demand with 23.6%, insufficient domestic demand with 16.8%, shortage of skilled labor with 15.5% and financial problems
with 10.2%.
