Business tendencies in manufacturing industry in January 2015

The managers of the business entities assessed that the confidence indicator in January 2015 in manufacturing industry is higher
compared to December 2015, and more favourable compared to January 2014.


The situation with the current volume of production orders in January 2015 is more satisfactory compared to the previous
month, the situation with the stocks of finished products is more satisfactory, as well as the expectations for the production
volume for the next three months.


The estimation of the economic situation is that it is satisfactory compared to the previous month, but unsatisfactory compared
to January 2014. The expectations for the number of employees are the same compared to December 2014.


The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in January 2015, compared to the previous month, increased to
61.9% of normal utilization.


The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in January 2015 were: insufficient foreign demand
with 25.1%, insufficient domestic demand with 24.7%, shortage of skilled labour with 23.6% and financial problems with 6.4%.
