Business tendencies in manufacturing industry in September 2015

The managers of the business entities assessed that the confidence indicator in manufacturing industry in September 2015 is 0.6 percentage points higher than the previous month, and 6.2 percentage points higher compared to September 2014. The situation with the current volume of production orders in September 2015 is more satisfactory compared to the previous month, as well as the expectations for the production volume for the next three months, whereas the stocks of finished products decreased. The estimation of the economic situation is that it is more satisfactory compared to the previous month, as well as compared to September 2014. The expectations for the number of employees are also more satisfactory compared to August 2015. The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in September 2015, compared to the previous month, increased to 63.9% of normal utilization. The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in September 2015 were: shortage of skilled labour with 24.6%, insufficient foreign demand with 23.8%, insufficient domestic demand with 23.5% and financial problems with 5.3%.
