Business tendencies in manufacturing industry in December 2015

The managers of the business entities assessed that the confidence indicator in manufacturing industry in December 2015 is 0.3
percentage points higher than the previous month, and 8.0 percentage points higher compared to December 2014.
The situation with the current volume of production orders in December 2015, compared to the previous month, is more
satisfactory, as well as the expectations for the production volume for the next three months, while the stocks of finished
products have increased.
The estimation of the economic situation is that it is more satisfactory compared to the previous month, as well as compared
to December 2014. The expectations for the number of employees are also more satisfactory compared to November 2015, as
well as compared to December 2014.
The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in December 2015, compared to the previous month, increased to
64.5% of normal utilization.
The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in December 2015 were: insufficient domestic
demand with 25.0%, shortage of skilled labour with 24.7% and insufficient foreign demand with 23.4%.
