Business tendencies in manufacturing industry in April 2016

The managers of the business entities assessed that the confidence indicator in manufacturing industry in April 2016 is 0.6
percentage points higher compared to the previous month, and 8.5 percentage points higher compared to April 2015.
The situation with the current volume of production orders in April 2016 is more satisfactory compared to the previous month,
the expectations for the production volume for the next three months are that it will increase, while the stocks of finished
products have decreased.
The estimation of the economic situation is that it is more satisfactory compared to the previous month, as well as compared to
April 2015. The expectations for the number of employees are that it will increase.
The average capacity utilization level of the business entities in April 2016 decreased to 64.1% of normal utilization.
The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the production volume in April 2016 were: insufficient foreign demand
with 25.6%, insufficient domestic demand with 16.9%, shortage of skilled labour with 16.3% and financial problems with 7.9%.
