Estimation of the managers of the business entities in the manufacturing industry about the business situation in January 2012

According to the data of the State Statstcal Ofce, the business situaton in January 2012 according to the managers is more satsfactory compared to the previous month, as well as compared to January 2011. The situaton with the present volume of producton orders is more satsfactory compared to the previous month. The producton volume of the business enttes in January 2012 is at the same level as the previous month; the expectatons for the producton volume are favourable for the next three months, as well as the expectatons for the number of employees. The stocks of raw materials and intermediate goods and the purchases of raw materials and intermediate goods in January 2012 are below and around the normal level. The stocks of fnished products decreased compared to the previous month. The average capacity utlizaton level of the business enttes in January 2012, compared to the previous month, decreased slightly to 59.5% of normal utlizaton. The factors that had the greatest infuence on limitng the producton volume in January 2012 were: insufcient foreign demand with 22.2%, insufcient domestc demand with 18.5%, fnancial problems with 12.0% and uncertainty of the economic environment with 8.7%.
