Estimation of the managers of the business entities engaged in retail trade about their business situation in the third quarter of 2013

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the managers of the business entities assessed that the business situation of their business entities engaged in retail trade in the third quarter of 2013 is more satisfactory compared to the second quarter of 2013, as well as compared to the third one of 2012.


Their financial situation in the third quarter of 2013 is less satisfactory compared to the previous one. Their expectations for the business situation for the next period are more satisfactory compared to the previous one.


The managers of the business entities assessed that their stocks decreased in the third quarter of 2013, compared to the second one of 2013. The assessment of the orders expected for the next period is that they will decrease, while the expectations for the number of employees are that it will increase compared to the second quarter of 2013.


The managers of the business entities assessed that the selling prices of the goods in the third quarter of 2013 increased compared to the second quarter of 2013.


Their assessment of the expectations for the selling prices during the next 3 months is that they will decrease compared to the previous quarter. The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the business situation of the business entities in the second quarter of 2013 were: low demand with 36.3%, other with 14.6%, increased offer on the market with 13.4% and increased competition with 12.8%.
