Estimation of the managers of the business entities of retail trade about their present business situation in the second quarter of 2014

According to the data of the State statistical office the managers of the business entities assessed that the present business situation
of their business entities of retail trade in the second quarter of 2014 is more satisfactory compared to the first quarter of 2014, as
well as compared to the second one in 2013.
Their financial situation in the second quarter of 2014 is more satisfactory compared to the previous one. Their expectations for the
business situation for the next period are favourable.
The managers of the business entities assessed that their stocks increased in the second quarter of 2014, compared to the first one of 2014.
The assessment of the orders supplying for the next period is that they will decrease, while the expectations for the number of
employees are that it will increase compared to the first quarter of 2014.
The managers of the business entities assessed that the selling prices of the goods in the second quarter of 2014 are at the same
level as in the previous quarter.
Their assessment of the expectation for the selling prices during the next 3 months is that they will increase compared to the
previous quarter. The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the business situation of the business entities in the second quarter of 2014 were: low demand with 35.1%, increasing competitiveness with 16.4 %, increasing offer on the market with 15.0%
and increased financial expenditures (interests) with 10.3%.
