Business tendencies in retail trade, first quarter of 2015

The managers of the business entities assessed that the confidence indicator in retail trade in the first quarter of 2015 is 1.1
percentage points higher than the previous quarter, and 1.7 percentage points higher compared to the same quarter of 2014.
The economic situation is more favourable in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the fourth quarter of 2014, and the expectations
for the economic situation are more favourable for the next two quarters. The estimation of the present stocks is that they will
increase.
The financial situation in the first quarter of 2015 is more favourable compared to the fourth quarter of 2014, the assessment of the
orders expected for the next period is that they will increase, while the number of employees is expected to decrease.
The selling prices in the first quarter of 2015 increased compared to the previous quarter, and the expectations for the selling prices
for the next three months are that they will increase.
The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the business situation of the business entities in the first quarter of 2015
were: low demand with 35.6%, increased offer on the market with 17.3% and increased competition with 15.0%.
