Estimation of the managers of the business entities engaged in retail trade about their business situation in the third quarter of 2012

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the managers of the business entities assessed that the business situation of
their business entities engaged in retail trade in the third quarter of 2012 is less satisfactory compared to the second quarter of
2012, as well as compared to the third one of 2011.
Their financial situation in the third quarter of 2012 is more satisfactory compared to the previous one. Their expectations for the
business situation for the next period are at the same level as in the previous quarter.
The managers of the business entities assessed that their stocks decreased in the third quarter of 2012 compared to the second
one of the same year.
The assessment of the orders expected for the next period is less satisfactory, and the expectations for the number of employees
are unfavourable compared to the previous quarter.
The managers of the business entities assessed that the selling prices of the goods in the third quarter of 2012 increased compared  to the second quarter of 2012.
Their assessment of the expectations for the selling prices during the next 3 months is that they will increase compared to the
previous quarter. The factors that had the greatest influence on limiting the business situation of the business entities in the third
quarter of 2012 were: low demand with 35.1%, increased competition with 16.3% and increased offer on the market with 15.3%.
