According to the data of the State Statistical Office employer’s average annual labour costs per employee in the Republic of Macedonia in 2008 amounted to 318 273 denars.

Employer’s average monthly labour costs per employee in the Republic of Macedonia in 2008 amounted to 26 523 denars. The biggest employer’s average monthly labour costs per employee in the Republic of Macedonia in 2008 were in the Financial intermediation sector, and they amounted to 57 065 denars.

In 2008 the employer’s average annual labour costs per hour actually worked in the Republic of Macedonia were 173 denars. The total average annual hours actually worked per employee in the Republic of Macedonia amounted to 1845 hours
