Consumer Opinion Survey, April 2011

According to the data of the State Statistical Offce, the value of the consumer confdence indicator in April 2011 increased by 1.09 percentage point compared to the value of March 2011.
The increase is due to the favourable expectations for the general fnancial situation of the households, and the expectations for the probability of savings for the next 12 months.
The expectations for the probability of savings over the next 12 months were more satisfactory in April 2011 compared to March 2011.
In April 2011, the expectations for the fnancial situation of the households for the next 12 months were more satisfactory compared to their expectations in March 2011, but less satisfactory compared to their expectations in April 2010.
In April 2011, the households assessed that the economic situation in the country is more satisfactory compared to March 2011, whereas the expectations for unemployment are less satisfactory in the next 12 months compared to their assessment in March 2011.
